Crestline is home to Lake Gregory, a beautiful public lake offering walking, biking, fitness trail, dog park, picnic areas and fishing holes, all surrounded by the beauty of our natural, alpine forest of cedars, oaks, pines, and firs.
The Lake Gregory Regional Park and Marina offers many activities for visitors’ enjoyment. A waterpark with waterslides and water toys along with paddle boats, water bikes and rowboats are available. You may also obtain a permit to use your own canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. A host of events dot the calendar throughout the year, making Crestline a popular destination in any season.

Hiking, fishing, and off-roading are prime attractions almost any time of the year. Every holiday has it’s own events with Valentine’s Day dinner/dance, local St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, and Easter Egg Hunts coupled with our annual Duck Derby. Nearby Oktoberfest celebrations, and Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies are other annual events. Memorial weekend sparks the opening of the Lake Gregory Beach, and the summer festivities of concerts, fishing derbies, our local “Corks and Hops” beer and wine tasting, parades, fireworks, car shows, Jamboree Days, and many other local craft and holiday events. Many of the celebration activities are free to the public or have a nominal fee attached. Local eateries, bowling alley, movie theater, shops and bakeries are also very popular, and make a walk to the lake an adventure in itself.
